KKK Schedule of Activities
KKK Campaign Program aims to further the interest and appreciation of local residents in learning history of their respective area. It also hopes of making the them the transmitter of such knowledge to other people.
To realize this vision, a tentative calendar of events for KKK program has been made by the author. Through out the first two months from its planning stage, the residents will be intensely oriented about the KKK program. The major events (from academics to the search of individuals who lived up to the qualities of historical personages) will be launched in August 2012.

-----------------------
Introduction
History in the
Philippines is the heart for the development of human identity. Its definition
encompasses not only the people and events that transpired in the past. It also
includes the impact (in various aspects) of these to the Filipinos and the
nation.
Learning
history as a subject is not limited at school or books found in the library.
The information and values embedded to it can be acquired in physical objects
and places. Examples of this category which shall also be used as a point of
communicating history to people are the street signs. The area of choice is
Project 4 in Quezon City.
The
campaign program, Kalinangan ng Kaalaman sa Kasaysayan (KKK) will serve as the
pilot tool in communicating history to Project 4’s youth residents. The KKK’s
objectives are to be carried out through various activities (e.g. educational
tours, academic contests, dramatization of heroes’ lives, etc.). It is hoped
that the participants would serve as vehicles too in sharing and disseminating
history to other people.
